Let me know what you want to do re: the farmstead :)

I want to go to the farm.  B, order Pepper to go to the farm.

Calm down, maybe we can all go to the farm, just not like that dog your family had when you were a kid that your mom said went to a farm.

Flipping through the maps, I ask, "Where do I meet the party?"

Well, there's this farmhouse ...

Heh.  The actual odds of finding people in this much space is at exactly the right time is pretty low.  I feel like this does not stop fictional characters from happening to run into one another quite the way it does people in real life.

Although given that my mental image of Karrnath now looks a lot like Alaska, and I routinely run into people I know even when I'm literally a thousand miles from home... lol

An eladrin and a ghost in our party.  No way this could possibly go wrong when we meet random villagers!

An American from Philadelphia, on hearing I, a Nova Scotian, was going to be in Amsterdam, asked me to say hello to two men if I encountered them. One American, one Dutch, both gay artists, and some basic physical description. And their first names.

Several months after I settled in Haarlem, I went to Amsterdam for Friday evening and stopped for a drink in my favourite bar on Leidseplein. I suddenly remembered my promise, and relayed the scanty info to the bartender who was pouring my drink. "Oh yes" he said. "They are in here every Thursday night." (Later I met them and passed on the message.)

Even the real world is small in some ways.

I am living in a town in Scotland with about 10k people, after having grown up in a little US barely-a-city with about 30k.  I met someone else here who used to live in that city too.

Heh.  One of my current coworkers was in a grad school cohort with my childhood best friend.  Mind you, my childhood was in rural Wisconsin and I now live in rural Alaska.  Probability is weird.

Astra is blatantly not a half-elf lol

She could wear a hat.  And swan about.

Might even find her a dress.

I'd think a quarter elf might look as human as Astra.

Besides, the calling Pepper 'mom' thing is funny. :D

You could be the dwarf's personal squire perhaps.

How old is Pepper, anyway?

I think Astra and Pepper could make quite the team once they get over their current abrasion.  But Pepper as mom?  I'm sure Astra would be responding to whistled commands in due time.

Or 'not' responding to them. :D

I thoroughly encourage you all to stick Astra in a dress and have her calling an elf 'mom'.  You'll deserve the results of her Bluff checks with a +2 modifier.

Didn't Huckleberry Finn where a dress once?
