You're ready to go out in the the world, my chickadees!

I don't find inventory management to be a riveting component of RPGs, so a couple of things:

Obviously, don't go putting 500 lbs of stuff on your poor little dinosaur and expecting it to run like the wind, but no need to micromanage load weights unless you really want to.

I categorically decline to keep count of mundane crossbow bolts or arrows.

Astra can just put her pack on it and walk; she + her armour alone are 5lbs under the heavy load weight, so no need for much calculation lol

Is the weather going to be slowing us down?  The terrain?  It's what, 250-ish miles to Lakeside?

So will Pepper and Astra engage in our group's first PvP fight?

Hopefully Olegov or Leatherleaf would step in before that point!

Lula and Potts got close.  This may get closer (honestly, I'm not trying to pick a fight.  I just think this is too characters who don't understand one another.)

One of whom is an emotional teenager, too.

Sorry for the absence people. My entire road has been no internet or intermittent internet all day. There's a phone co. truck out by the booster box or whatever it's called now so hoping they are fixing it for real.

No worries.  A moose broke my internet TWICE, so I know this pain.

I think moving plot along will take an order from your PC for the company to hit the road, when you get a chance :)

Haha internetceptor moose. I think water may have gotten into the works here. At least there's a big rust stain down the side, I think the box placement put it right under a huge drip collection spot on the power pole next to it.

It's blinked off and on about four times in the past ten minutes, so they're still mucking about I guess.

Soon as I can then.

He itched his head on my DSLR box and broke it.  The repair guy came and put it back up and repaired the wiring.  Then the moose came back and did it again.  Now my big dog has taken it as his personal duty to guard the DSLR box, lol.

That's a pretty useful dog skill under the circumstances.

Some people breed giant dogs to guard their sheep or their children.  Mine guards my internet connection.

Well, and my car.

Lol!

Remove the gorgeous mountains, replace with line of black spruce, and it's the upland bog that feeds our lake.

Hee.  I fully intend to use my own photos for a lot of the scene-setting as you proceed north, actually.

Lol!

Yup, we're just above the treeline, there.  If I had turned around and taken a photo down into the valley behind me, would be black spruce as far as the eye can see.

We are planning to retire to Panama, but then I look at these photos and think, "North is a direction too."

North America's toughest tree. In Les Isles de Magdalene there are 100 year old black spruce less than 2m tall and a few cm in diameter. They stand in the way of some of the fiercest gales the Gulf of St. Laurence can conjure up.
