I sit.

I sometimes know when not to push my luck.

"Now hand over your cloak, mask and gloves," the commander says.

I hand them over. I'm not a complete idiot.

"I have a question. Who benefits from a weakened Karrnath?"
52
FYI I'm out for the next four hours... Warcraft movie.

Let us know what it's like.
53
[Initiative, just in case, 2 + 6 = 8]

[Same question, am I including a Val turn in every round?]

[Like Martin, I'll most likely pass most of them]

"You retrained or decapitated," the commander says, his voice and face hard.  "Your status as a crime against God and nature aside, you attacked first."

"Uh, I seem to recall getting a spear jabbed into me before any of us made a move," I interject. "I could have taken a shot at you the moment I was close enough. I didn't. You're the aggressors here, not us."

"What she said. What does your god think about lies?

"I don't know if you've actually noticed, but you're in a country that has stood an undead army for decades."

[Diplomacy to be not decapitated: 10 + 12 = 22]
57
"Newsflash kid, you've been dealing with a humanlike undead for the last few days. And I'm under control, I'm under my control and that's the only bloody control I trust.

"Now if you want to act like a peasant, why don't you run back to your peasant family and tell them you couldn't handle anything outside your tiny world."

I glare at her, quite furious.

Bloody peasant superstitions! I thought she had a brain, but no, just another brainless idiot.
58
"Cause she was so useful at turning things around when we was getting our asses kicked two minutes back?" I scoff.  "And there's no we here that's got you and me in it, got it?"  I raise my voice.  "You gonna disobey Master Olegov's orders, Pepper?"

"For fucks sake Astra, I'm the same person as I was before you knew I could shred people with my teeth."
59
The best laid plans of DMs ruined by recalcitrant players. Tut tut.
60
[A stealth would be good to see if we hear you leave. Or would it be obvious?]
61
"What do you want, boss man?" I ask the commander, trying to steer the conversation away from me being chained up.

They won't do squat to stop me turning into a bat, but if they're blessed they'll certainly tickle as I metamorphose.
62
"Been there, done that, got the bloody shirt.

"How many cards are we holding, kid? One. Exactly one. And she's out there with some shredding weapon. Now you shut up and listen to what they have to say."
63
"And our sniper friend stays where they are. As insurance. You have our weapons already, we're no threat."
64
"Seriously? Manacles? No. But you have my word that I will sit quietly and listen."
65
"And you aren't binding me, mate," I say, "I'll cooperate, but you aren't tying me up."
66
"Oh, the vampire thing. Right, yes. Legacy of a misspent youth I'm afraid. Stay in school kids."

I look at her stricken face.

"Look Astra, I've been living like this for a couple of hundred years now. I've clearly got it under control, otherwise I'd have eaten all of you back in the barn. To me it's just another aspect of me, like my love of Cyre poetry and Valenar waistcoats."
67
"Pardon? Right about what?"
68
I pass my sword to the commander.

"Whatever your backwoods prejudices, I am still a person. You should remember that when you're dealing with people like me."

I pass over the rest of my weapons, all of them.

"Are you okay Astra? Good fighting there. Nice work. How about you Mari? You look like you could use a lie down. I'm sure we can arrange that, we're at an inn after all.

"Commander man, we need a rest. All of us. Sorry about your barbeque boy by the way. He should have surrendered though."
69
"Fan-freaking-tastic Astra. How about you, you good? You got this?" I reply grinning. Some days I love my job.

Blast that woman. Well she can wait.

My eyes glow red as I focus on the leader's back. He's pressing the ghost hard. That annoys me. I like her. I wonder what he tastes like. He looks like he needs tenderising. I can do that. I'm good at that. I'm very good at that.

I move towards him. My fingernails lengthen, my teeth sharpen. I can hear his blood. My hand tightens on the hilt of my sword. I'm directly behind him [G6].

I attack, nails raking his exposed skin. I puncture his flesh. I tear shreds from him. In two seconds he is bleeding. He smells good. He smells like life and death. My life, his death.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Onlookers would have seen wounds appear all over his body before I reappear just behind him, Leaning in, tongue out a little.

Just a taste, just a small one...Soon

[Everyone's a critic :D

Stealth check of 24 and can you add 9 to the damage on B]
72
There goes my cunning disguise.
73
I smile winningly at her, "Did you miss me darling?"

I lean towards her as though for a kiss, but at the last microsecond I dissolve into a hundred bat shapes, flapping and scurrying around her and her leader. When the Batstorm dies down I'm standing behind the pair of them at I7, though completely invisible to them, while they bleed from a multitude of small wounds.

[Swarm: attack on B 20 (!) + 9  = 29, attack on A 13 + 9 = 22 vs fortitude. Damage if hit 5+5+3+9= 22, 11 if a miss.]
74
"Shit", I mutter under my breath as I miss. "If the mountain won't come to me...Plan B then."

I stand up [move], sheath my sword and draw my crossbow [Master at Arms, minor] and fire at C2's back [Standard].

[19 + 11 = 30 vs AC. Damage 3 + 5 = 8]

Val needs to mail them to someone
